About

I’m a Film Professor with a dynamic background as a USAF Officer, piloting C-17A Globemaster missions worldwide for humanitarian and combat efforts, followed by a career in procurement, supply chain, and logistics while earning an MBA.

A lifelong storyteller since childhood, I turned my hobby into a passion, working as a Production Manager on an independent feature film during my MBA, then pursuing an MFA in Film and TV Producing. With experience on over 30 productions across the US and UK.

I currently teach college-level courses like Independent Producing, Introduction to Filmmaking, Cross Cultural Cinema, and Media Aesthetics, both in-person and online, certified in distance education.

Issue 001—From the Future 1. MEATBAG PULSE (setup) Last week a filmmaker sat in the dark at 3 a.m. Seventeen tabs open. Twelve AI chatbots suggesting scene after scene… full of his nemesis, the—em dash. A half-written script that felt like it came from nowhere and meant nothing. Every idea he had could be generated in seconds by something that doesn’t doubt, doesn’t tire, doesn’t care. He made a small change. Didn’t think much of it. Not because he copied it—because it works. It flows—like...

Hollywood's Billion-Dollar Trend: Why 'Soap Opera on Cocaine' Microdramas Are Taking Over Your Feed
The Weird Ads You Can't Escape If you’ve spent any time on social media lately, you’ve probably seen them: bizarre, intensely dramatic ads for shows you’ve never heard of. A woman discovers her husband is a secret billionaire, a scorned lover gets revenge on an abusive alpha werewolf, or a fake marriage turns into a steamy affair. These are not trailers for the next big streaming hit; they are gateways into the world of "vertical dramas." What might look like a niche internet fad is actually...

Great Scott! The Scrapped Ideas That Almost Changed Back to the Future
Introduction: The Masterpiece That Was Almost a Mess Welcome to Before the Rewrite, Episode 01: Back to the Future is one of those rare, near-perfect films, an iconic masterpiece that defines a generation. But its path from script to screen was far from smooth. The beloved classic we know and quote was nearly a completely different movie, featuring a kitchen appliance for a time machine and a lead actor who played Marty McFly as a tragic hero. ------------------------------------------------...
