Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, said that he thinks "the likelihood of the universe being a simulation may be very high." Whenever I play games like SimCity or Cities: Skylines I cannot avoid the feeling like it is merely low render version of our own universe.
In this experiment I have been running a simulated city for nearly twenty years, porting data from the original Sim City into my current Cities: Skylines build, "Altura."
My simulated city has had a population as high as 4,000,000 sims and currently has a population of about 10,000. I am currently building a computer that will allow the simulation to run 24/7 with live stream viewing options.
